May’s featured artist is Shane Stich AKA Shane842, tattoo artist at Solid Gold Tattoo in Marysville, WA. Shane, a NW native, has been making art his whole life—”graffiti was a major foundation in my art,” he says, “and still to this day in my progression as a tattoo artist.” As for his wickedly vibrant Pet Sematary-esque design, made exclusively for Concuss, Shane says: “the art piece is motivated by the chaos of just day to day BS giving a person somewhat overwhelmingly trapped, negative way of thought.”
